About Our College
Sun College of Pharmacy & Research Centre established under R.V Educational Trust. The trust was established in the year 1998 under the Chairmanship of Er. C. Thayaparan. The college has been approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai (TNMGRMU). D. Pharm course has the approval of Directorate of Medical Education (DME) and Government of Tamil Nadu. The courses offered by the college is B. Pharm with annual intake of 100 seats and D. Pharm with annual intake of 60 seats designed with a focus to help individuals to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sciences.
The Laboratories are on par with the latest standards in the state. Great care has been taken even in the minutes of details keeping in mind to nurture and develop the students to become real and competent professionals in the field. The faculties with their rich academic and professional experience form the backbone of the activities.

The college is housed in a modern building with architectural beauty and it is equipped with good laboratories and library. An array of well qualified under an able administrator cum principal will look after your academic and around wellbeing. The college is run by New RV Educational Trust. The other educational institutions under the SUN, SURYA and UDAYA Group of Institutions are Engineering, Polytechnics, Arts and Science and Education.

The main goal of pharmaceutical education is to equip the aspiring pharmacist with the skills to play a key role in his/her chosen path – health care. Our strength is our Management which has, provided excellent buildings and Infrastructure for the development of pharmacy education and research. B.PHARM
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) is an under graduate course in the field of Pharmacy. This field mainly concerns with the preparation and dispensing of drugs and medicines.
D. PHARM
Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) is a diploma programme in the medicinal field of Pharmacy which enables a candidate to know the basic concepts of pharmaceutical science.
